The first time i seen that car on the cover of the midamerica catalog i thought it was the ugliest vett ever but when i went to funfest this summer and got a look at it in person it's really a kick a$$ car.
I would do the interior if you planned to go all the way with your car (rims custom paint ect.) but i wouldnt put that interior in a stock looking car

I have installed the seats, console lid, shifter and ebrake boots in a friend's car - hers is Electron Blue. I have also installed a couple of VE interiors as well for myself and friends. I have installed a set of the Leatherseats.com skins too.
By far and away - the Midamerica stuff was the hardest to work with, and my perception was it was the lowest quality. In fact - I'm not sure the seat skins are leather. I thought the blue sections looked tacky and cheap.
I am absolutely 100% in agreement with the statements about it's your car and you should do what you want - popular opinion be damned. I also agree that there is nothing wrong with wanting your car to be different than the other 200K+ C5's out there.
I just wanted to share my experience with you - one last thing...my friend's auto trans boot from MAM was the biggest PITA that I have ever dealt with. I F'd it up installing it just to get it to work. I have ordered her a brand new boot from VE - black with EB stitching as a replacement. The plastic bezel for the shift indicator does not come with the MAM boot - it has to be deinstalled from the OEM boot and installed on the new one. It is glued and stapled on the OEM boot. The VE boot comes with the bezel already installed - glued and stapled. The whole job will take one-tenth the time with the VE boot. Good luck - Kevin!
