Yes, I do it every year so I don't have to worry about freezing and I can keep a charge on it once in a while. Biggest issue, watch out for mice in the car
Make sure you don't have the theft protection set on your radio or you will have to unlock it when you put the battery back in. I just hook a battery maintainer up to mine during the winter then I can drive it on any days the roads are dry. Good luck
Oops, just read where you are located. Maybe the roads don't get dry there.
I never pull my battery, you will need to reset a lot of stuff including the radio and re-training the low tire pressure warning system.
I have the Battery Tender Plus by Deltran on my 2001 and she is a real garage queen. About 4,500 miles in the last six years and no issues with this mode of storage.
you better wrap it like a baby if it's a delco they r junk
anything to back that statement up? I love general ignorant statements like this. I've had my Delco for 5 years, not one problem. They are not all perfect, but not all junk either.

Sure you can pull the battery out of the car, but you can also hook up a Battery Tender and let it keep the battery charged while in the car. This also helps if you happen to get some really nice weather during the winter and you want to take the car out for a drive. No need to reinstall the battery.
