Taylor or MSD?

I just pulled my MSDs a few weeks ago and had the same problem. There were several that looked like the pic above. I have since switched to the Taylor Thundervolts and really like them so far.
I even used the Kool Socks with the MSDs. I think both of those products are junk, Kool Socks and MSD wires. No need for socks with the Thundervolts as they have three thick layers of protection for use with long tube headers. Here are the specs on the Thundervolts:* Only 50 ohms per foot resistance
* 10.4mm - .409 inch diameter
* Three layers of pure ZIMPLEX® silicone - a Taylor Cable Exclusive
* 600 degrees heat protection
* 102,000 volts dielectric strength
* No additional heat sleeve required
* Tightly woven, heat treated fiberglass braid
* Pure silicone “Pro Boot”® bonded to the wire
never heard of an issue with Taylor wires. Read about many issues with MSD. That said I've had MSDs on my car for the last 25K miles with no trouble. Guess I've been lucky, but if I has done some more careful research before, i would not have gotten MSD wires.

Nice posts and the picture is an eye opener.

But i will keep and eye on them now
