Read my post a few back. They will work fine on the Early Fobs.
Only problem would be if you switch the Passive Switch on and off regularly. If you leave it on or off no problem.

Can this be true!? If so, I will order right away!

BTW, it would probably lessen the possibility of tearing your new key fob cover if you warm it up with a hair drier before installing it on your fob. (Be careful not to get it too hot as that would damage it. Warm not hot) A little trick I learned in the sign business some years ago. Rubber and vinyl products are more forgiving when warmed-up prior to working with it. Heat also comes in handy when trying to remove anything that has been installed with glue as the heat softens up the glue and makes it easier to remove a glued item.

Anyone get this link to work?

Links to photos in this thread worked for me. Look the same though.

I don't know why it doesn't work but the photos are posted at the Key Fob review thread also in General posts.

Thanks Jim,

Got the protectors in the mail yesterday. All went on without any problems using the inside-out method. Thanks for bringing us great products sans the Vette tax!

Just installed mine. Thanks to the "inside out" instructions, they went on without any problem at all. Cannot find a way however to reinstall the small keyring, so I just tossed it. Great product for 5 bucks.

Just got the 6 that we ordered in different colors installed. We have an 01 Suburban, 96 Eldorado, and a 98 Vette. The covers fit great, even on the 98 FOB with the passive switch.

Now we don't have to fish for keys anymore. Also no more FOB knocking noise on dash of the 98.

Great Product!!!!
