Question for spark plug experts
With my head and cam car, I sometimes get some pinging sounds at high rpms at wot when it is hot if I'm running 92 octane. What brand plug and gap might eliminate this? When the engine or outside air temps are cooler it doesn't seem to ping as much, if at all. Also, if I run an octane booster or 93 octane it seems ok. Thanks. :chevy

I believe you really need some revision in programming to reduce spark advance or add fuel in these high temp problems. Colder or different plugs are not the proper answer.
