There are many ways to get the corvette to run in the 10's. Getting rid of a car because your girlfriend thinks you should lose one of your "play cars" is a bad idea. Get rid of the girlfriend. You will always regret selling a car because she said so, and it will empower her, she may soon not want you to have a play car at all..

Keep them both if you can!! I have a 00 Vette and a 93 Typhoon, both play cars. I had been tempted many times to sell one of them for various reasons. Looking back I would be kicking myself now if I had ever sold either one of them.
