While it is artsy to take a half foto of your car, or something similar, you can achieve the exact same look by taking an entire foto of your car and then cropping it down, after the fact. We are now in the digital age, and our photography should harness all the digital prowess available.
My suggestion to everyone, take a wider photo than you want, then crop down.

But depending on how much you crop by doing that you reduce the resolution.

thats true if your using a point and shoot, a decent SLR would look much better focusing on the partial portion.
That is a great looking vette!!! I am in total awe of the way your vette shines!! That EB just pops out of the picture. It looks like a beautiful area of town in VA. Great shots!!
