What was I thinking
...for waiting so long to do this! I've been shopping for weeks for a C6, had a GM Supplier certificate and cash in hand. But in the blink of an eye, I'm a proud owner of a "slightly" used, "new to me" Black/Black 2003 Z06.
I'd actually found the car online over a month ago but was vaguely interested. The pictures didn't do it justice. I had the day off yesterday so I thought I'd ride out to the lot as they had two new C6's I was interested in. I thought while I was out there, I might as well satisfy my curiousity over the Z with a first hand look!
WOW! The car blew me away. I am in awe!! This is my first Vette after being bitten 20 years ago. My wife still remembers the C4 posters I had on my wall (and Heather Locklear, Elle McPherson, etc.).
I will say this about the car. It is a very rare thing when you get behind the wheel of an automobile that immediately commands your respect. I can see there will be a period of hand holding then pecks on the cheek before we start making out! I plan to make very sure I know this car before I get anywhere close to pushing it's limits (granted in a controlled, track setting).
Anyway, I'm glad I found this board and more importantly, my dream car! A ZO6 to boot
