I'm In The Postion To Purchase A 2007 C6 Z-51 Loaded Six Speed. My Trade In Is A 1998 C5 Triple Black Clean. What Do You Guys Think, My Girlfriend Says Do It But My Current C5 Is Paid For And I Was Going To Mod It Out. I Wiil Retire In 3yrs And I Wanted To Purchase A Fresh Z-06. Should I Wait?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a paid off c5. If you are rich and will not hurt retiring in 3 years , buy the new car. I do not like to work and if it was up to me I rather retire early than buy a new car. Mod out out your old c5 and save $$$$$$$.

This sounds like an interim thing. You really love your C5 and want to mod it and in the future you want a Z06. Sounds like this deal just popped up and isn't part of any plan. I'd say just wait the three years, you're too experienced for snap decisions.

If are planning on eventually getting rid of the C5 Now or 3 years (if you Mod it now just means you will have to de-mod it to sell it.)Get a good dollar now on the trade for the C6 drive it for 3 and get the Z er then

I'm Going To Keep It And Have Fun With It. And Besides I Would Lose My Flip Up Lights. Thanks Guys You Helped A Great Deal. And With No Car Payments You Can Do A Lot Of Stuff.

Good choice keeping what you have, especially since you really want a Z06 eventually. Save the money now for the future purchase.
