Ain't America great? 9/11 did NOTHING to change people in this country. Un-freakin'-believable. Makes me ashamed to be in the same species sometimes. Like the bumper sticker says:
You know, this is what I hate to see these days. The Leos (no offense) say they don't have time to deal with this kind of thing if you do call them. But, they say teh same thing - let it go. Why? This is why it is so common, no one deals with it.
I have let things go many times rather than escalating but if someone spits on me they are going to suffer the consequenses.
Now, if the Leos could or would deal with it, I'd call them every time.
Hey it's not the LEO's, it's the courts and the jury's that let them go. It's your word against theirs, IF IF IF they get caught. Buy the time you call, an officer gets to you, the ***** is gone or it turns into a big fight, then both parties end up in jail. Don't blame the police, most of the time road rage cases are not prosicuted because courts and jurys want video taped evidence before they will even look at a case. Our system has crumbled and getting worse because everyone thinks they have all these damn rights. We need to get back to the old days, when the lawyers didn't control things, the people and public did....Think about it the next time you are sitting on a jury. Who should have the rights, the victim or the criminal. If the public would let the police do their jobs, in MOST cases, we would have less crime...
One time while I was leaving a Mc donalds establishment, Two guys were turning in to the parking lot. As I was pulling out, They launch a Big Gulp at the back window in my Tahoe. So what did I do....... Busted a quick turn and came around those two guys headed on into there car (wich was at the drive thru lane. Stop and got out holding one hand behind my back. I saw it in a movie once. hey though They were crazy scared and didnt know what to do. Sure enough I got them to appoligize for the situation and pay for a carwash.I never went back to that Mc donalds. if it was my vett, I would have slash all of there tires.

I had my car keyed the first week that I bought it..I ran into the mall just to get something to eat and sure enough, a long thin scratch. Also about three months ago, I parked the car outside of a supermarket...away from all the cars but still had a few cars around me so i wouldn't stand out too much, and someone had scuffed my right rear of the car. Everything is repaired now but I would have paid just to catch them doing it.
Just out of curiosity, how much would someone pay to catch the person that damaged your car when you werent around? If you did pay, what would you do when you dound the person?
Some jacktard that uses the same garage where I work (not the same company and I still don't know who did it) kicked in the right rear quarter panel of my 2003 Z06...I would LOVE to find out who did it.

If I saw someone on foot do something to my car, I would just walk by them like it was someone else car. When they are walking off, I would haste to the inside of my car, get a weapon(hammer or knife) and sneak up on them. At that instance I would go from earthly human to a crazed demon from hell. It will make the news.
I know this sounds bizarre and crazy, but if I didnt believe there was a hell, I would have killed A LOT of people by now. Just from someone looking a me wrong can turn me into a
Thre are a lot of sick people out thre. A couple of years ago I had a friend who got Aircraft Paint stripper on his car. It wasn't a vette, but it still cost him about 3k to get it fixed. Even when I was a kid and pulled stupid pranks, we never touched outher peoples car. There was just the line that did not get crossed. Now you hear all of this vandalism occuring, and think that it is becoming a sick world that we live in.

The fact you're overlooking is that someone has to observe a person
actually committing the crime and be willing to go to court and testify before the police can pursue criminal charges. I never saw anyone spit on a car when I was a cop, but I've been on the receiving end several times.
If you think about it, it's pretty easy to walk by a car and spit on it or key it and not have someone see anything, particulary in a parking lot. A cop would look pretty silly taking a kid to court for spitting on a car. Keying a car is different because it can result in several hundred dollars of damage or more, but proving it is another story.
Just have to keep your cool. Can't say and do things like we did years ago. I had some kids shoot my car with paint *****. I was in too much of a hurry to get to a car wash than chase them down. I guest that was a good thing.

I do agree and at times when I have seen an officer come to a seen, I get the impression they know what will eventually happen in court and end up issuing a warning or ticket, vice making it more painful, because people constantly get off with so much these days it is sick.
Knowing this only makes me want to take the law into my own hands and beat that "poop" out of them, but I do refrain from that.
I really do thank my law enforcement officer's for their duties and wish they got paid more adequately and rarely blame them, it is just a thankless job at times and people really don't look at the big picture at times, when a person is arrested there is a large percentage of people that get released with a smack on the hand and don't pay anything near what tey should for the crime they commented.
rant.......sorry, this kind of stuff ticks me off.
1. If a child acts out, spank them.
2. If a grown up acts out, we should be allowed to spank them too without the fear of going to jail and loosing everything we own in a law suite.
Spit on my car and I slap some sense into you, suddenly I have become the bad guy.
Everyone has rights except the innocent victim.

Reason: just the facts
Kicked it hard enough to shatter at 2 points it made a squarish kickin point about a foot x foot in size. I was so gd pissed. I took it to the police and they checked it over and confirmed it wasn't a car but something purposeful. As an aside I had 5 nails in 4 tires on 2 diffrent cars prior to that. Someone was/is messing with me. I'd LOVE to find out who they are.

To be honest, I'd be hard pressed to come up with a violation of a criminal statute for spitting on a car. You might be able to go with a local ordinance charge such as disorderly conduct, but that's probably stretching it. Even if you do charge the person, you still have to prove intent. My guess would be that 99.9% of those caught would say that they were just spitting and didn't see the car.

The Dems have a bill up right now to make spanking your child a CRIME!
We need the government to stay OUT OF OUR BUISNESS!!!
It's called "Class envy". We see it everyday in politics.
You work hard to get where you are and the lazy ones feel they have a constitutional right to have what you have without lifting a finger.
Accept it. Doesn't look like things will change in the near future!
