I saw it on the news last night. I believe it would apply to children under 3 years of age. Only in America!

Oh man, this is going to be long

1. A commerical truck I drive I have to leave it parked at work (each is a seperate incident:
a. Paint balled 100 shots everywhere
b. Graffiti on the lift gate
c. Graffiti on the side
d. Broke into the back and stole all my bungies and made in china tools (like I would leave made in usa stuff in the truck) and cargo strapes.
e. I had a locking gas cap and someone went underneath the commerical truck and cut into the gas hose to siphon gas. When I went to the gas station to fill up all the gas rushed out from underneath. Nevertheless now I have pvc pipes covering the gas line and "Diesel Only" stickers.

2. Kids always standing buy the side and egging cars driving back. Once all I saw was eggs on the ground in front of the road I was driving at so I just punched the gas (they didn't account for my speed change) so all of the eggs missed target.

Now with the corvette I parked it outside at work (not in the alley way but on a busy street) since I had to leave at night for a few hours and within 20 minutes two trash cans were parked one in front and one in back. Oh no. I had to move them somewhere else.

When I was looking at buying corvettes at least two people I talked to (assuming they were telling the truth) said their cars got keyed-- one by an angry ex-girlfriend.

Are you sure you're not running California plates? Hear they get hostile towards Californians moving in up there.

well ... if you really want to catch someone 'in the act' ..

Install an alarm that pages you with tone or vibrater, and is silent on the car.

Had one on my van years ago .. was in an arcade with the family when it went off, came out and two young lads had the drivers side door open and were hunkered under the dash when I came up behind 'em .. I never laid a hand on 'em.
I just casually remarked 'you know, you're life isnt worth what's in my van ..and that's exactly what you are risking' .. I had just returned from Southeast Asia, and frankly it surprised the heck out of me how mellow I was.
I think if they had shown any kind of aggressiveness or come around with a gun I prolly would have sent 'em to the hospital at the very least.
I truly scared the crap out of 'em .. I hope they decided not to pursue that particular career.

With the Vette these days .. I got insurance .. but 'catching 'em in the act' .. the result very much depends on how a vandal reacts. I am old an slow ..but if they in arm's reach an pull a gun, .. I own 'em.

When I first bought my C5 I was at a friends shop and had it sitting out front on the avenue and watched a guy walk by and just spit on it for no reason. Of course I was pissed and wanted to go out there and take him down for it but I decided against it. I knew I was about to leave in it and smile all night driving it while his @$$ would still be walking. My friend who owned the shop went outside and gave him an earful though!

Nobody has thrown crap at my cars yet. If they did I'd be too busy jetting off to the nearest self-serve spray wash to chase them. Not knowing what is on my paint I'd want to get it off double quick.

Wife had someone throw a beer bottle at her windshield once but I don't think it was because of what she was driving, more like because of how she was driving. She believes others can't tell when your brights are on so she refuses to dimm them. That I'd chase down, broken windshields don't wash off.

I hear you bro, I'm amazed at how much more respectful people are down south. People don't break in to other people's houses because they could be shot, AND IT'S UNDERSTOOD, AND RESPECTED. Same with cars. The closest police barracks is about 40 miles from me, yet there is no crime, people help each other, and in all cases have stopped to COMPLIMENT ME on my ride. If you need to pass on a two lane, people pull over and let you pass, no middle fingers, we all wave at each other! Sorry, just another Yankee that will never return North!

This is not pointed at you, just saw the Ohio thing on your avatar and it boiled my blood real quick.
Then you probably shouldn't stereotype All Ohio citizens because of the poor actions of one person....I wouldn't stereotype people that hang at topless bars. Afterall it..wasn't there another out of state team there as well...that was likely celebrating their victory? I would have thought the OSU fans would have gone into hiding after the butt-kicking they took!
I support my team and my school, but hate it just as much as anyone else that acts like a child.
If I meet that I guy I'll ask him to mind the "kindergarten rule" and keep his cheetos to himself!

Holy crap! And they call where he comes from "Gods Country?" That sort of thing NEVER happens here in the Philly area (used to be the City of Brotherly Love. Now The City that Loves You Back?) If you should ever visit here some time and anything like that happens, stay cool, you could wind up with a "cap" in yo Azz. It's a "different" world we live in for sure. BTW Welcome to the Forum. Nothing but NICE people in here.

Reminds me of when we were returning home from the 50th Anniversary Corvette Caravan. While traveling along the interstate, we had just crossed into West Virginia, when a group of kids in a car from that same state sped passed our group and flipped each of us the bird. I immediatly thought this this must be the IQ of the state and our group just passed through the state without stopping. Havn't been back since. Sometimes first impressions are best???

At the next light i got next to him and he rolled his window down, i got real close to his door and hawked a huge loogy right in his face. I know , i probably should have just drove off but.... then tonight these 3 kids were driving at me from opposite direction, one leans out the window and throws something all over my windshield. I wipped a u turn right there and caught up to them at the light. I got out and walked up to his window and told him to get his lil *** out and clean off my window (we were in a turn lane haha!) I used some bad words (oops) and told them i was gonna call them in. I don't know what it is lately but people are asking for some serious trouble. Has this type of thing ever happened to anyone here?? later bros!!
You know I am going to actually applaud you for what you did. That is total BS and sometimes you actually have to stand up for your rights contrary to what alot of people think. Alot of these A'holes know that a big majority of people have this passive attitude and that they can get away with this kind of crap. I am not the biggest guy by far but you know it is better to stand up for yourself than to get ran over. I have had the usual crap from punks riding on my butt and I won't hesitate to call them on it. As others have said, it may not be the smartest thing to do but then again I am not pissed off the rest of the day because someone walked all over me. I tend to mind my own business but then again I won't back down either, esp when it comes to punks. As I stated earlier, I like to be left alone and as such I leave other people alone. It's called respect!! It is the same people who tell you to just go your way who would in turn more than likely turn their head to someone who was being assaulted or robbed.

Default Welcome and becareful

Welcome to the forum. I'm sorry that there are buttheads in this world but that is why we carry cellphones and have police. I agree you can get shot out there in the streets. It is not just nuts who carry guns. I've got a permit and have a 9mm in my glove box. I'll use it if I feel my life is in danger. It takes all kinds to make this world go around. I just wish there were less buttheads in the mix... Take care and let the cops take them down.
