thanks for all the welcomes. I think I like this forum beter than the 3si already. There are some really great people and info there but seems to be less BS here.

Welcome and definitely check out the South East forum. Kind of dead right now but we have quite a few get togethers in the NOVA area in the summer months. Also, we always have a caravan to Carlisle in August.

I hope to make it to some gatherings. Sounds like fun. I went to a few of the locall 3000gt gatherings in Ohio, where I am from, and thyey were cool, but small. All depends on my work schedule. Oh and by the way..

I am new to the area so not familiar with SHooter's hill, but everything is fine here in ALexandria
Hello everyone. I am the proud new owner of a 97 Corvette . I've spent the last 5 or 6 years over at 3000GT forum(3si.org). I still have my 2VR4's(92 &99) so I didn't abandon that platform, just expanding to a new one. Seems quite a few people there have defected to the Corvette. I noticed Deft on here already. I hope he is as helpful here as he was on 3si.
This is the first Corvette I have owned and as a matter of fact, I think it is the only vette I have ever driven. So far it has been great! I don't have a plan for mods yet, but I am looking forward to doing some.
I'm also looking forward to chatting with all of you and learning more about these cars. Anyone in the Alxandria VA, area- don;t be a stranger.
Here are a few pics:

I learned a ton at 3si about my 3000gt over the last few years. Saved me a tome of cash and headaches. Good to know this will be as informative, if not more informative and helpul. Thanks in advance for any help. i have already been able to get my fob reprogrammed, and check my CEL codes from here.
