Default Yet another newbie

Hello everyone. I am the proud new owner of a 97 Corvette . I've spent the last 5 or 6 years over at 3000GT forum(3si.org). I still have my 2VR4's(92 &99) so I didn't abandon that platform, just expanding to a new one. Seems quite a few people there have defected to the Corvette. I noticed Deft on here already. I hope he is as helpful here as he was on 3si.

This is the first Corvette I have owned and as a matter of fact, I think it is the only vette I have ever driven. So far it has been great! I don't have a plan for mods yet, but I am looking forward to doing some.

I'm also looking forward to chatting with all of you and learning more about these cars. Anyone in the Alxandria VA, area- don;t be a stranger.

Here are a few pics:

Welcome to the site. What size wheels are on your car?

Post some pics of your VR4's. Most of us appreciate anything performance oriented.

Welcome to the world of Vettes! You should check out the Southeast forum for info on local events. There are a lot of active Vette owners in NOVA. :

18s and 19s. They were on it when I bought it.

I figured most were performance enthusiasts. I'd be more than happy to post pics. I love my VR4s! The black 92 is BPU and the 99 is stock other than the hood and fenders. I'm not a fan of the factory wing on the 99 but it is a rare car so I leave it on. I plan to add 15g turbos along with supporting mods eventually.
