Really Cool Install
this may be old for some,, but first time i've seen this...thought i'd pass it along - i could use one of these (a V1 in a mirror)

holy crap. I didn't know they made these? Do any of the vendors offer a kit for it.
I absolutely love modifications that are aftermarket but look like they came stock. Man thats so slick.

if they make'm for m5's and 911's,,, surely someone makes them for the C5 !!
if not, someone should, as we all know how us 'C5 guys' like to mod, and how many C5's were produced !!

The vendor for that mod posted here a few years ago. They started installing those in high-end cars like MB's and Porsches. I think the price at the time was around $1K.
There is a very similar mod how-to that someone posted here about the same time where they pulled a non-electrochromatic mirror apart and installed the guts of the remote V1 display in the same position to simulate the Euro version posted above.

Personaly it woud look a little bit better if it blended in with the glass better. Like when there wasn't a display it just looked like a regular old mirror. Kind of like the side mirror turn signals.
