Are the CD's right side up in the changer cartridge? The first time I used my changer, I set the CD's on the trays label side up - the label is supposed to be on the bottom when you set the CD on the cartridge tray. It will give you the same ERR message if you do this.
Thanks for that tid bit. I just installed a 12 disc with new wire harness and got the err.How simple. Flip the disc.It don t look right. THANKS again.
Same thing happened to my head unit. Brought it to a car audio place near work and they cleaned the lens for the laser and it's been working fine since.
Don't have to disconnect the battery, just pull the fuse (it's in the engine compartment fuse box, not inside the "cockpit." Wait 20 minutes and put it back in. This "resets" the head unit.
Very odd for me bc I'm having same issue with CD player. Pulled fuse for 30 min. Replaced and player worked fine for Collective Soul CD then I changed to Warrant CD and back to same issue (no disc found). So now I'll leave fuse out over night and try again.
Any other ideas??
