Your PMs are full so I couldn't respond to you, but yes, I have plenty of VaraRam units in stock and during February they are $315 shipped.
Um, you are thinking he wants a VaRam intake, not the velocity stack, right? The little velocity stack is a small radiused cone shaped device that sits just in front of the throttle body and usually goes for the really low price of $39.95... but it's worth like maybe $2.00 or less...
If he meant the Varam intake with the dual air filters, that's different!!
BTW, if you want a velocity stack... sometime I'm going to remove the horsepower robbing unit I have... I'll send mine to ya!!
It was a weak moment when I purchased mine... and I was not a member here to know any better...

If you don't believe in the science of Physics (Bernoulli's principle) then don't buy 'em. If you do, then you'll know velocity stacks work. (About every carburated dragster uses them, and race boats, and race cars, etc.)

Uh.. ok, I'm confused. One man says they're junk and the other says they're treasure. Which is it??
The VaraRam works by increasing the plenum air pressure.
Throttle response is aided by the plenum's ability to feed air on demand.
If you increase the volume of air available, the throttle response will be better.
Most likely not a HP gainer because the plenum pressure is not any greater, but most likely a throttle response helper because volume of air available on demand is greater...
I have a velocity stack and IT DOES WORK. It makes for a much quicker throttle reponse and feels great in low RPMs ( 500 - 2800 rpms). I would have never believed it but seeing is beliving. The folk that dont have one are non-belivers since it is so hard to beleive this little peice of plastic works. Now its not a "night and day" difference but I can tell something is difference and I like it. I removed it last fall and and did not like the results so I put it back in. If you can port your TB then do it but if you want a easy and cheap upgrade then this is it. I dont think you will dyno much HP but the throttle response is worth in IMO.

Old thread to the top. VRROOOM. What a "snappy" reply response I just had when I stomped on that mouse pedal!
So I am still in the early learning stages of the "machine" we are discussing on this forum. A forum with so much quality information and knowledge being shared. I would have to say people with garbage attitudes , unbacked statements , and TOOO many emoticons in there post , are probably best overlooked when you see their posts.
ZZZOOOM back 2 the point though... Who did you sell this worthless POS to and how much did you sell it for? What was his feedback to you after he used it? Thank you in advance....Appreciated you sharing your applied knowledge BTW!
Opinions are to be heard. Jokes are to be told. Worthless posts to be added to threads. We should all consider that when we post and read. IMO.
