Default Does it bother you?

Does it bother you when you see fake rear Z06 vents tacked onto a regular C5, along with Z06 wheels? Or how about one of those Z06 look-a-like badges with a different word on it, even though it looks like a Z06 badge from more than 2 feet away? There are a couple of those around town (vert and coupe) and I always have to correct those around me that it's not a Z06 like they thought.

Corvette guys know it just an add-on, but does it bother you that others may be fooled? Just wondering.

Honestly, to each his/her own. As the saying goes the ultimate form of flattery is imitation. Hmmm....makes me wonder if the Japanese deserve some award for "authentic" imitation.

It doesn't bother me, but it is cheesy, specially if its a box stock C5. Now, if it has a firebreathing 414 making over 525 to the wheels (or a C5 that makes at or above Z power), then it's a different story.

Not necessarily calling anyone a poser, but the fake stick-on crap gets on my nerves.

It doesn't matter to me. I mod my car to make me happy, not other people.

Doesn't bother me one bit, though I have a friend that wants to mod his C6 vert with Z06 fenders, spoiler, etc and I advised not to add the emblems.

To each his own, I actually took my Z06 badges off and had custom ones made by forum member Austin Barnett. Because the power level keeps going up, I elected not ot advertise it

It bothers me more to see C5 Z06 owners with knock off C6 Z06 wheels on their cars.

I take it as a compliment when I see stuff like that. Now large wings on C5's...that is a totally different story unless they spend a lot of time at the track!

The only time it bothers me is when they lie and tell people it's a Z06 or put up pictures on Cardomain, streetfire or whatever stating that it's a Z06 when it's not.
And the funny part is when you call them on it they say you don't know what your talking about.

How about when you see a 110 hp Honda Civic with aero kit, wings, lowered on stock suspension, after market chrome/anodized rims, and an 8" diameter exhaust.

Oh, almost forgot the "racing" stickers.
