Well unfortunately I don't have a clue as to who did it. If I ever get my hands on who did it, they're going to get their head smashed into the ground !!! But as of now, I can't do anything. Well actually I filed a police report because I just can't stand to sit around and do nothing. So the police are coming over in about 30 minutes to take the report down. As for my paint, it got chipped !! Small specs of paint were taken off, and you can see where they threw the eggs. Man O Man, I'm getting cameras put on my car. I hope the police catch whom ever messed with my car before I do!
It could be someone you know, it was most likely a planned event. try to determine be the number and direction of egg hits if it was more than one person (most likely - adds to the thrill). DON'T MENTION THIS TO ANYONE! Wait to see if someone you know brings up the topic of car vandalism in any way - trying to get you to disclose this incident - that is most likely an involved person or at least a someone that has knowledge about the incident. If in a group when this happens, watch for interactive eye contact between individuals, maybe even smiles, especially right after you express yourself (if you lie, the eye contact will increase even more because "they" will be in disbelief/denial).
Sorry for your misfortune, man. I want my car to be a daily driver, but it scares the hell out of me to leave it parked anywhere. Whenever I do drive it somewhere and have to leave it, I park way the hell away from everyone else. Still, there will always be a-holes in this world who, for one reason or the other, will want to mess with someone else's car. There's just nothing we can do about it. So far, I think you have done the right thing. Hope the cops find the jerk(s) that did it!
If you have an idea who did, let the Police investigate the matter. If you do take it into your own hands, it could lead to you getting in the same trouble.
I think most people believe it is for a specific age group. If you are in your 20's and 30's, it is "daddy's car". If you are in your 40's and 50's, you must be going through a midlife crisis. If you are over 60, you must have spent all your retirement money. People must believe that c5's are still outrageously expensive. Granted, there aren't that many high schoolers who could afford one, and it may be a bit impractical for a parent to buy one for thier child. Okay, really impractical.
Good job with the police report. Now you can file that on your insurance.
It's a tradegy. Although when the eggs hit it, you can't really tell because the yolk blends in!
ok, I let the first comment about the banana car go, but you're comments are very unappreciated. If you're going to have a scrimpy attitude on this thread, please just don't post your comments at all. They're really not helping!
and I'm sure there are other corvette owners that have millenium yellow corvettes that don't appreciate what you're saying..
As for everyone else, I pay for my corvette. All $1,286 dollars a month. I'm in the in health insurance business, as well as I'm very educated. You're only young once, so why not drive your dream car?
Well as for the positive comments on this thread, I thank you all for helping me get through this corrupt incident
Mr. Couture, I am with you. I got my z06 at 19, now 21, and my car was egged last year. Good luck on finding out who did it, I never did. There are a ton of jealous people out there, my car gets messed with all the time here at college.
I dont see how someone could touch a car like that, because I sure as hell dont have the ***** to do it. I have caught a couple of people messing with other cars and have confronted them and it led to a fight. I have an anger problem, but it doesnt show unless I see someone mess with someone elses property. Im very protective.
