As for Korte, I send you my condolences because you have a poor attitude. Believe it or not, I pay for my car. The car itself is $765 a month, and the insurance is $365 a month. I work for Cornerstone America, and I'm damn proud of my accomplishemnts at such a young age; seeing as how I'm the youngest to work for the company. If you don't believe me, here's the link to my website:

http://www.cornerstoneamerica.net/au...ile-agent.aspx

But I really don't have anything to prove to you as I'm sure I've accomplished more in my 18 years of living than you probably have in your 31!

Sorry forum members that I had to escalade to such a low-level as someone on the forum. I just get a bit heated at times. But thanks for all the help. I'm hoping the person who vandalized my car will get what's coming to them. But I'll just wait patiently and hope he/she get's caught.

Mr Couture: Congrats on being young, smart and having good taste. That being said, over the years every vehicle I have ever owned has been vandalized at one time or another, and it never gets easy, take deep breaths and plot revenge, but keep a cool head. At my last job my hotrod got keyed after I just put a $5k paintjob on it. So, I offered a $1k reward for info leading me to the perp, the HR people didn't like it much but after that the vandalism at work stopped.

that's a great idea. I'll take a reward into consideration. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

yah, my insurance is out the roof. But I'm hoping my grades and a lo-jack will bring it down a bit. But when you have no other bills to pay other than car, it's not so bad a month I suppose.

Default Sorry about your car

Use you insurance money and take it to a professional shop. Good luck, hope the police can find the goobers that egged your car.

Wow, sounds like a cool down period is needed in here. Hey lets just keep it freindly and help the guy out.

Good luck with getting that repaired. I'm sure it will look like new when you get it back.

Doesn anyone have any suggestions as to what I could/should do to fix the chipped paint?
I would suggest you go to the car care section of the forum and read up on several areas concerning paint care. It will take some time but will be well worth it. Then I would do a search on "rock chips" or "repairing chips". You'll find some very good suggestion there as to how you may be able to do a satisfactory reair yourself. Even if that doesn't work, you probably won't be out anymore if it does require a professional to fix it. Good luck.
PS: I think it's cool your only 18 and have a vette! I can understand why you are upset. I know it's a big deal now but whoever did the egging will get theirs someday. Life has a way equalizing things. Good luck and let us know how it comes out.
