front turn signal problem! need help
Well i bought a used set of turn signals and installed them today along with new bulbs (which are the correct part numbers according to the guy at Napa and his comp.)
When the car is on, the running lights are fine, but when i turn the headlights on, the d/s running light stays lit up but not he passenger side! But when i turn the headlights off, both of the running lighs are lit.
What could be wrong? I have the correct bulbs, and in the correct locations. any advice would be great,. these turn signals are driving me nuts.

The pasenger side bulb might be burnt out. There are 2 filaments ( one for DRL's/park lights and one for turn signal) and when the headlight are on the park lights go dimmer because the DRL's turn off ( which is one of the filaments) but I could be wrong, maybe some other will shed some light, but that's the only thing I can think off. This will still make the turn signal to work ok but not the DRL's.

Pull the A2 fuse and that will inhibit the DRL function. That way you will just be left with T/S and parking lights. That will let you troubleshoot where the problem is.
Its a common ground for both functions.
I suspect one filament has burned out.
