originally my modding was born out of practicality (at least thats my rationale). I was considering getting an C6 but what it boiled down to was I just did not like the fact of "other" cars with less than half the intrinsic value boasting at or near the same performance. So for a fraction of the cost of a new vette I started modding. Somewhere along the way the "indication" set in.
Because GM made the C5 with more horsepower than my C4 Now the regular C6 has 400chp. I so wish GM would stop it already. I remember when 300chp was a big deal

Because I got beat down the other night by a Dodge SRT4 with a HUGE turbo and an intercooler the size of my radiator and a foot thick.
I think my tax return should cover the new wheels and tires to hook up on a new 100 shot of NOX. That should take care of him.
we all know corvettes increase a mans "man hood", but the problem is if everyone gets the same "increase" with the corvette, we don't stand out to others, so we mod to make it "bigger"
on a serious note. I mod because I want something different, and I want a car that fits my driving style.
My car is currently my one hobby and I like it to look different than the other cars that are around. Therefore, I mod it to my tastes and as long as I can afford it, I will continue to do so.
Because it's all about the journey, not the destination...
I have had so much fun doing things different on my Vette than others so it will be more about me than others, and it is so close to stock like the Grond
