My Z06 was the blank canvas on which to create the image of what I would like my Corvette to be. I modded my car for my personal enjoyment to look at and enjoy what I've created. Not too wild, but just enough to look like "mine", not someone elses. I really think out every mod I do to enhance what I've done already without being over the edge (to me). Unfortunately for my wallet, I haven't reached a point where I have to stop. Still have more ideas. Buying a more expensive car to begin with wouldn't work either. I can't leave anything alone, so I'd just have a more expensive, expensive car.
Because as much as I love my C5, there's so many ways I can improve upon it(silver to black paint, a4-mn6 conversion, C6z wheels, c5z suspension, aps twin turbo kit...)
Then it'll be just the way I wanted it from the factory.
My car is my hobby and my release as well as my motovation to get through school, it gives me something to think about and a reason to pay attention in my engineering classes. that and cool cars pick up chicks
My car is currently my one hobby and I like it to look different than the other cars that are around. Therefore, I mod it to my tastes and as long as I can afford it, I will continue to do so.
Because it's all about the journey, not the destination...
Every once in a while EG says exaclty the right thing. Time spent with the car is my time. I enjoy driving it and I enjoy modding it. I still get a big thrill out of the smallest little changes.
Because it's all about the journey, not the destination...
this is so true, i can't remember ANY mod that gave me more pleasure using than installing.... i suppose i'll have to wait until i get a maggie or TT setup
