While driving tonight I noticed something about corvettes.....
THE HEADLIGHTS SUCK! I was wondering why I was having a hard time seeing the road. When I drive around my area its no problem because I know the streets and know what to expect for the most part. In different areas I have to use high beam sometimes.
I think its time to save up for a c6

Yeah or the PROJECTOR style drop in headlights. I plan to use my car as a DD for a while and I do alot of night driving. The $900ish is worth it.

One thing it does help do though is make me drive slow.

I've heard some good things about the Toshiba HIR bulbs. Check with forum member JMc.

The lighting might've been decent by 1996 standards, when the C5 was released, but thankfully GM got smart and gave us HIDs in 2005.

I put an HID kit on my foglights and they improved the night driving 100%
Check out my pictures of headlights alone, fog lights alone and both together

But I really don't have a problem with the stock headlights... They seem fine to me.

Kinda funny post - I usually drive at night with just the driving lights on - headlights off.

I hope I don't get shot for this. But honestly I don't have a problem at all with the lights on my Z06. I used the brights for the first time the other night and I thought they were great!
Try driving a fourth generation fbody. Now those lights SUCK.
