Default Re-Paint

I don't know about plainting a red vet black hurting the resell, but painting a red vet black might hurt the resale.

I would suspect that there was some reason you repainted it, other than because you wanted it. I would walk away, but you should always do what you want

If I see paint work on any vette, the first thing I think is body work or it has been wrecked. I would walk away from buying it.

In order to change the color on your car and do it right would be very, very expensive. You'd be better off selling it and buying a black one. Oh and fill out your profile.

If the paint job was done correctly, I would. A good paint job done correctly will cost $7000 to $8000. If it was a $149.95 Macco special.......

It would be an issue for me. It would remove the integrity of the Vette!IMO

Thanks,Matt

But that is not always the case. I bought my 99 as Sebring Silver and now it is charcoal grey--not becasue anything was wrong but because I like the color better and I have gotten nothing but compliments on my car and don't feel like I would have a problem selling it if I wanted to--which I don't but still....
