hi,
I'm a noob to this site so please don't flame me if this has already been discussed. i did some searching and couldn't find an answer to my question.
i have a 1999 C5 vette and i am looking to get some new wheels. i would like 18's in the front and 19's in the rear. i was wondering what kind of offsets and tire sizes i would need to make that happen.
also, i heard somewhere about the traction control freaking out with a change in overall wheel diameter and the car only getting like 100 hp... i would like to avoid that, obviously.
as the wheel size goes up the tire sidewall gets smaller if done correctly. then the computer/car odometer/speedometer never knows the difference. Called +1 sizing. The overall diameter never changes.
