Hi everyone,
I changed my left turn signal light with my headlight open. When I was finished my headlight would not go down, lost my rear night lights and my dash lights!!???. The head light comes on but the door dont go up/down. For a quick fix i tapped in my remote starter system and tie in the wire that bring power to the night light and dash light(same brown wire under dash) it fix the lights(their on all the time when i run the car but oh well)but the door still dont work. Note that when i place the column switch between off and night light position the headlight goes down(in that in between position only). Any help will be appreciated
Have you tried using the manual ****? Mine have gotten "stuck" in the open position for...I noticed it only did that when I left my car off for awhile without turning off the head lights.
Anyway, I cranked it down and it rest itself. Hopefully that helps...
But dont get me wrong they go up and down so i still have my problem they dont work normally from the switch and i still have the tail light and dash light problem. Something happenned when i replace the turn signal i suspect from reading other thread the controller or the nulti fuvtion switch its just weird that all this happen at the same time but all this is also control by the switch
u blew the fuse.........same thing happend to me....its the fuse onder the dash......i dont remeebr which number but its the tail light fuse......thats y the headlights stay up to let u know......ur parking lamp fuse.....
hope u read this b 4 u do n e thing stipid like taking thins apart
I had the same problem after changing the park light bulb. I did a search here and found a blown fuse. I can't recall which number the fuse was but it was a 10 amp. fuse. Located in the fuse box in the passenger side floorboard. Surprised me that all these functions were on one 10 amp. fuse.
Hope this helps.
