Default Vette or Harley?

I know the love for both is very strong, believe me . . .

If for some reason hopefully never happens, one had to go, which one would it be and why?

not to be rude, but this is a vette forum, so you already know what the consensus is going to be.

The Harley went away 6 months ago. I just got tired of it. Kept the GSXR and the wifes VStar. Like I tell everyone who asks...You sit on a Harley...You pilot the GSXR. I don't need to ride the bike for transportation, or the vette for that matter, so I want something that is fun when I do ride/drive it. The Harley was just slow, lumbering didn't corner well, didn't accellerate well and just over all was like sitting on a loud couch. I know a lot of people have an unnatural affinity for their Harleys and she was fun to fix up but she was not for me. Maybe if I had a different model I would have enjoyed it more. Oh well..my vote is the the Vette.

Good lookin Gixxer! I just sold a 04 Black/Orange (very rare) GSX-R600. I really regret it now.

Been to both coast on a bike. Sold my last Harley (93 ultra) to buy my first vette. Three vettes later, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I personally am going the route of nice car, cheap bike. You dont need anything fancy to have fun on 2 wheels.

I pick up my first vette on the 21st and have a 600 honda shadow already here waiting to come out for the spring

For me, the bike would be gone. I can drive the Vette year around if I needed to.

This is a Vette forum, so.... But I love my Harley as well. Living in the South, we have nice weather most of the year, so I get a lot of riding time on my Harley. Besides, my wife has a Harley as well and she would kill me if I sold mine. See, I have a vette and she doesn't, so I guess if i sold my Harley I would have to sell hers and by her a vette as well. NO, I will keep both the vette and the Harley. Oh yeh, I'm not a big fan of those Crotch Rockets, sure their fast, but if I am going to lie down on something to ride it, it better have thighs and smell real good....

With that logic, we must all sell our vettes and buy the biggist SUV we can find, that way if or when we get hit, we will all have a better chance of living...People who have never had a vette will never understand why we spend the money we do, and crawl in and out of a fiberclass machine every day, but it works the same for Harley owners. I think the guy wants opinions from those who can relate to his question. If you never had a Harley, you will never understand the question...
