I believe I can do a little better with da Beast!

Anyone been on it with their Vette?

Thanks for any info,
Jeff

How long are you going to be overseas?

Now let's talk about the autobahn. BE prepared to get your lunch eaten at some point. And when you do get your lunch eaten, it's not going to be by an exotic Porshce, Benz or Bimmer. It's going to be by a sleeper in the form of a Opel GT station wagon or a Volkswagen GTI.

I've been cruising on the autobahn at 250 -260 kilometers and a station wagon has put the left blinker on me in the fast last. Damn!!!!

So good luck and buckle for up for safety

I have two of those wagons and my vette. Been here a year. PM or continue this post with any questions. Good tires, new weatherstrip and new HID's were my 3 best buys.

Good luck,

Smash

i would buy one of these and put in an ls1, perhaps on top of it since there is no room anywhere else...you would be taking off like a plane

Corvettes aren't too popular in Germany. I had the pleasure of ripping up and down the A6 on my motorcycle, bumping the rev limiter in 6th gear on the straights a few times for the 2 years I lived there.

Just remember, the left lane is for passing... not driving. Like it is SUPPOSED to be here!

In my experience, Germany has the most courteous drivers, Luxembourg too. Everything changes when you go to France or Italy... holy moly

Hello Bluewasp,

not sure yet maybe a couple of weeks. We plan on touring through Holland to see family, also France and then Germany......flyin low on the Autobahn, we will end up in Switzerland to meet up with more family.
Should be a great trip!

I'm curious anybody sell their Vette over there? ever get any offers?
Any legal issues?

Jeff

The only issue would be tax

If you import temporarily you don't pay tax. It would have to be paid once it was permanently imported.
