C5 Demolition...

Well boys and girls...The C5 demolition began Wed night, continued last night and was finished today...The front and rear bumpers were removed, headlights, air dams, seals/weatherstrips, side lights, tail lights, door handles, side view mirrors...and i'm sure various other parts...All the screws, tabs and bolts are bagged and tagged for when the car returns from body and paint...My 2000 SebringSilver Vette was someone elses daily driver that was fairly poorly taken care of when you get down to things...The car had its share of blemishes and paint fade and thanks to a hit and run parking lot incident I'm left with more damage to fix...so...the whole car is getting a facelift. New paint and body repairs with gunmetal stripes to follow it up...should be a nice improvement...with all the prep and removal of parts the job is still costing 2k...Decided to keep the car the same color as changing it would double my cost...Wish me the best all! Update will follow as it all goes down!
