My engine's on fire!!!

My 2000 coupe is torch red and I used red neons. I think it looks pretty good.
I used two neon light kits that I got from one of the local auto part stores. I think they were 10 inch lights.
They had sticky tape attached to them so I simply stuck them onto the inside of the fender. I put the ballasts in the battery area on the back side. I think I used double-faced tape to secure them to the firewall. My battery den has a cover so there are no unsightly wires strewn everywhere. For the far side light, I ran the wire along the hood release cable and zip tied it in place.
I tied the two power and the two grounds together from the ballasts. I took the wires into the cabin through the same location where all the other wires pass through below / behind the battery. I grounded them inside the cabin - just can't remember where right now.
I took the power wire over to the drivers side and tied into a switch. The other side of the switch is tapped into the power for the fog lights. The fog lights must be on for the neons to be powered. The extra in-line switch is to turn them off should I want to. I mounted the switch on the lower panel near where the footwell light is.
I think the power wire for the fog lights may be purple and brown?
I will try to find some pictures tonight.

If you have aftermarket exhaust, you can simply dial-down the sensitivity of the unit.
If you're interested in my making you one, send me a PM.

I will shoot video of mine (blue) tomorrow.

I took a picture with them off, then on and combined the two as a gif file.
Steady night shot is below the gif.
