Some thoughtfull person showed me that my passanger side mirror folded in when they scratched the side of my car in a parking lot last year. I wished they would have left me a note so I could have thanked them in person

I couldn't open mine all the way either until someone on this forum told me to carefully spray the hinges with WD40.

I think this is why I have the "auto adjustment feature" , I gas it and the mirrors "adjust" in , hard braking and they "adjust out" .

Did you also know that, if you twist the end of the stalk located on the left side of the steering column, the headlights will pop up.

I was folding mine in when washing to avoid the buildup of water inside until I heard this from several people. Stick with blowing the water out now to avoid this problem.

Funny. Probably scared the heck out of you.
I thought I broke the motor on the driver's side mirror on my Caddy a few days before selling it. Part wholesale was $500 plus labor plus paint.
Fortunately, the detail guy must have used too much water. It started working over next several days. And I did get big bucks for car.
