It's been a couple of weeks now since I sold my Vert and it hasn't gotten any easier. I don't regret the decision, since it had to be made, but I do miss the Vette. The only thing I don't miss is the mod bug. It's no coincidence that I went with white, it's sort of to keep the memory of my Vert alive along with a poster that will go up in my garage. My 4 year old son is still asking me when my Vette is coming home. It will be a few years, but I will have another Vette. FROM THIS: TO THIS:
I loved my Suburban. It was a 95. I sold it to my sister in law about 4 years ago and she's still going strong with over 200k miles. Yes, she has a name too. Marge
But why sell it when you already had an SUV type vehicle? (I admit, I really like those Infiniti's) But.....you already have the family toting vehicle..should have kept the Vette. There would be nothing worse for me than making a HUGE payment on an SUV (those new suburbans are nice but $$$$)
It was definately hard to let it go. With 3 kids ages 5, 4 and 1 month, the Inifiniti just wasn't cutting it space wise. I originally started out to buy a Tahoe, but figured if room was what I was after, then the Suburban was the best choice. It was a tough decision for everyone, including the wife, but we all agreed that in 3 years tops I would buy another Vette. I'm hoping the C6 Z06 used car market puts it within reach, otherwise another C5 Z or Vert is in my future.
It's a nightmare . You'll wake up. Actually, you need to fit some 22's on it and pimp that bad boy. That should make you feel a little better
You guys aren't helping. I know the mod bug has a slippery slope and I am trying to resist. I don't think I will lower it, but haven't ruled out a cat back or some 22's. It rides real nice as is, though I did test drive one with 22's and it still rode great. The less money I spend on this will leave more money to spend on my future Vette purchase so I am trying to resist. So far it's working but we'll see.

Then sell the Infiniti and get another vette. NOW! Not in 3 years!!

Glad I didn't talk to you before making the move. I used to own a Tahoe along with the Vette and having just one family vehicle resulted in us driving the Tahoe into the ground in a short period of time.

I'm just giving you a hard time. Family first....or something.
Though, my vette IS a part of my family.
Hey, do what you've gotta do..and you'll have another one before you know it. Good luck!
