I've driven another car with almost half the oil "missing" (wasn't my car)...
My advice would be if you can avoid "hard driving" then just don't do it... I didn't have any issues except when I noticed the pressure/tempreture changes...

please respond ......CAN A C5 TRANSMISSION BE DAMAGED RUNNING IT 1 1/2 TO- 2 QUARTS LOW....... FOR 1 DAY OF HARD AND SOFT DRIVING 20 MILES OR SO.......PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR RESPONSE OR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE THANK YOU......AND IF U READ THIS JUST LEAVE A COMMENT ON WHAT U THINK!
Depends on many factors... How many miles on the car/transmission, clutch condition, trans temp at time it was run low on fluild.
I wouldn't doubt that 1 1/2 - 2 quarts can screw up your tranny if it's got high-hard miles, high temps, etc.
I'm assuming you're talking an A4 based on fluid question, right?
Omar, dude, we've been over this already. Running the tranny with that low of fluid WILL damage the tranny. Your symptoms are the clue to a damaged trans. It's toast. Jiffy Lube has wrecked your trans. Try and file a claim and pray.
