Default HUD fit question

On my car the edge of the dashboard shows just a bit on the right of the HUD unit. Is this normal and how do I fix it? Thanks

How about a picture. From your question I have no clue what you are asking about.

If you mean that you can see the image of the trim piece around the edges of the HUD opening reflected on the widscreen, thats normal.

If you're polishing the dash area ..... don't. Use a damp cloth not glossy cleaner.

Will take a pic this weekend and post. Around the right side of the HUD you can see the dash board end. It looks like the trim piece around the HUD on the dash is too small.

I think I know what you're talking about.......and it involves dash shrinkage combined with a trim cut that was too close to the edge of the bezel (trim piece.) Father Time and Mr. Sun probably combined their forces to do this.

I know someone here in the area that has the same problem.

Not sure what the fix is other than removing the dash and replacing it with a new one since the bezel is mounted to the dash via screws and trying to drill new holes won't really take care of the problem.
