Chip,
Can you keep us posted on this. I think it is very interesting and I see what he is getting at---great idea for a quick stop
I am totally interested in this one.
BTW---would a tall skinny 15 year old girl fit in your small shirts or would they be too big?
Thanks again---and sorry to hijack a bit

It only takes my 30 seconds to put my targa on. I'd save the $150 and just use the targa.

Looks like a toupee
,,, but that is a good idea. Too bad you can't drive with this on.
Mid America Motorworks sells this as well. In the $265 range.

It is knd of ugly. But for $250 + i'll just take the extra couple minutes to slap the targa back on.

If you don't like what you find, buy a couple rolls of duct tape and some old cardboard.

I would just duct tape it on. It should be good for 200mph like that

It's $149 at Mid America and I would like to get one to avoid the wear and tear on the rubber molding across the top which tends to rip. I had to replace my molding after the 1st year. Besides the temporary top is much lighter ie easier to pt on and off.

Whoa! You can't do that. It would take away half the fun of driving a 'Vette. I wouldn't have that George Hamilton toasted look.
But I do want one of these temp roofs.
