Temporary coupe top
Ok, I have no idea if such a product exists but heres what i'm thinking:
So many times i drive my coupe with the top off and have to stop in somewhere for 15-20 mins (IE lunch) but i dont want to put the top back on, just too much of a hassle. I'm not concerned about theft because the car is usually in plain sight but just a temporary cloth top i could stick on so birds dont poop in it etc. I would never be driving with this hypothetical top on, just for temporary parking. So does anything like this exist and if so, where can i get it?
Or, any ideas on how i can make one?

Idea: you could in theory make a retractable vynil top that attaches on the main crossbar . When you parked, just roll it out and use elastic tie loops to hold it to your stock top mounts.

Interesting this thread came up 
CCA has 2 temporary tops in design and mock up for the C5 and C6
1) is the cloth version...
2) is a plastic injection version
We should have the Cloth version ready just in time for summer.

Another benefit that they don't mention is that it's keep out the rain. I was at work, wasn't a cloud in the sky an 0% chance of precip. But against all odds a little thunder boomer rolled through and wet everthing down nicely. My interior was bone dry even though the rain was pretty intense. Luckily there were no winds, that might have shot some water under the top.
Any way, I can't recommend the temp top enough.
