I don't see the point of those "cloth" tops if you're careful you shouldn't have any problems using your normal glass top unless you're having difficulties putting it on and off...

It takes 6.257 seconds to put on and take off. Keeps the dust out of the car when you don't want to put the top back on...
I've had the prototype for 2 weeks and my top has not been back on the car since...

I went to the local cloth store and bought a piece of fleece, about 20 feet long. Matched the color of the car pretty close, MY, sewed a couple of elastic pieces on each side by the mirrors. I just throw it over the car, pull the elastic loop over the mirrors and I'm done. It covers front and back windows and about halfway down the side of the car. Keeps it cool inside. Not very good for rain, but would stop bird droppings. And its washable. Cost me about 7 bucks.

Ok everyone, here are the details.
We contracted the company that makes Carbella Tops to make the temporary tops. There are some minor differences, but nothing you would know by looking at it. The side angle is a little different and the stitching is different, other than that it will be almost identical to the Carbrella models you have seen at other major Vendors.
The GP is as follows:
I have 11 C5 Tops and 10 C6 Tops that are unspoken for at this time.
Production is going on now and we expect to be shipping the GP out the week of 5/2.
If you would like to be in on the GP, please send me a PM and Post in this thread. I will go by the order posted in this thread.
We will be making a second run and have this as part of our regular line of merchandise after the GP is finished.
GP price will be $139 and free shipping.
Sorry for the bad pics, we'll get some professional ones for the web site when we open this up to the public.

This has not been released to C6 Gen yet, so if you know someone with a C6 you can have them PM me as well.

whats to stop someone from walking away with your $139.00 temp top??? Seems it would just take a second. Especially when parked on the street or in a car park. I thought about buying one also but...

This was one of the 1st things I bought when I got my car 2yrs ago and a good investment. Beats the hassle of lifting the heavy top on and off! Easy to put on and off and most people dont even notice its not the hard top. Several people I know bought one after seeing mine 
For 10-15 minutes I really dont worry about the car sitting there without a top but at work all day or someplace its sitting longer....Ive had it on at the mall and no one has ever attempted to boost it. Great to keep dust and pollen out and the sun off your interior.
