I bet it was either an old one that fell and they missed it during the clean-up or it may be a new one but it's an extra, they simply dropped it and didn't find it until you did a few quick stops... causing it to roll out from under the seats...
It wouldn't hurt to take it back to the dealership to let them assure you that all is well and they check to make sure both are in place as they should be... Shouldn't be a big deal and wouldn't hurt to check.

My friend printed out the schematic and taped the bolt to it. He's going to show it to the dealer and have them check it out. I can't wait to hear their reaction, I'll post an update.
