I hate it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to start taking OEM parts off. If its just a wire I can remove and still have a functional up/down window I'll do it. Tell me how?

You're obviously talking about something else. Window Valet is a mod that you purchase (it's not OEM). It's plugged into the OBD-II port in the driver's foot well. If you bought the car used and didn't realize it was aftermarket -- you can remove it...

The window valet is not OEM. Look under your steering column and you will see a little rectangular black box about the size of a match box and pull it out. Walla, no more window valet. It is plugged into the diagnostic port that the dealership uses to analyze the car. Then send it to me for fixing your problem.

Ah, I stand corrected. I purchased new and thought the window valet was just one touch down. As I said before, I can't stand double pressing the switch just to crack my window.
that would be me!
