Looking for input from y'all with recommendations on run flats or zero-pressure tires. I've had the factory Goodyears and currently am running on Michelin Pilot Sports. Are there any other run flat / zero pressure tire recommendations out there?
The other two I know of are Kumho and Firestone.
I had the Firestone SZ50's. They were better handling and quieter than the GY's... But still were far inferior in ride and performance to the GoodYear GS D3's I now have...
Dumped my run flats for some Pilots...Had a flat last fall half way across Wyoming in the middle of the night..You are all kidding yourselves with your little air compressors and your tire patch kits..
Went back to run flats (Kuhmo's) pronto....
I picked up a nail in the Maryland Mountains coming back from Carlisle a couple of years ago and experienced 1st hand why GM put run flats on the car. I have Pilot Sport ZPs on my car and I'm happy with them. Wouldn't even consider the alturnative. I hate walking!
Somewhere in my travels on this site I recall reading that ONLY two brands of runflats are repairable, the Goodyear EMTs and the Michelin Pilot Sports ZPs. Something to consider if you’re in the market for runflats. Good luck with your selection.

Even more fun on an interstate at the height of rush hour with merging ramps! Talk about a death wish
