Default West Coast Corvettes

I'm wondering if other forum members have dealt with West Coast Corvettes? I ordered a painted front surround license plate from them over two months ago and I have yet to receive it. I contacted them and they informed that the they had to "drop ship" it (i.e. go to a separate vendor to have the order filled). When I did contact them several weeks ago they said that the vendor would ship the item in a week..so far, nothing is received.
At this point, I'm not very impressed with West Coast Corvettes...they don't seem to keep me informed as to what the status is, etc. I never had this problem with Mid-America.

I've ordered many things from WCC and never had a problem. They're one of the few businesses I order parts from because of the quality of their products and their customer service.

I believe they have that item drop shipped from Kewl, who has a reputation for being slow, possibly waiting to paint a batch the same color. WCC is a good vendor.

It's a little different when it comes from another vendor!

they don't have control over it!

But you should call them back and have them contact the vendor and geta confirmation and tracking number!

They;ll do it! just let them know your from the Corvette Forum and others are interested in your current post!

Thanks,Matt

I ordered a set of BB PRT's w/ speedway tips from MTI here in Houston. They ordered through West Coast Corvettes. It took almost 12 weeks to get the product. To this date I still don't know who's fault that was, I was willing to wait realizing that BB builds each exhaust sytem to order, but twelve weeks was a bit too long. Just my experience, not bad or good, no feelings either way.

I have ordered several items from WCC and they are always fairly quick to deliver, once I had ordered some painted items from them and they did outsource it to KEWL inc. and Ive heard lots of people on this forum complain about having to wait on KEWL inc. one good thing is everything I got that came from KEWL was very nice so maybe a good job is worth waiting for, good luck

Ive ordered a lot of things from them and never had a problem. I usually get their stuff quicker than I do from vendors that are closer to me.

I bought an expensive ($150) "chrome" rear plate from them at Carlisle last Aug. The original one had to be sent back because the plating was comming off the rear while it was still in the box. They sent me another pretty promptly.
Subsequent to that the one they sent is now on the car but the plating is cracked and lifting off
I need to contact them..too much $$ for a poor product.

I've ordered several things from them without a problem.

I would either ask WCC to get a tracking number on the shipment or give me the name of the 3rd party company so I could call them.

Something sounds fishy. Have you talked to head of sales?

Ive ordered quite a few parts from them and received them rather quickly....Their customer service is great also...they had shipped me the wrong part and overnighted the replacement to me at no cost....Ive heard about the delays from Kewl , so that is where the problem probably lies. Hoope you get the part soon!

Ordered about 10 to 15 items from WCC over the last two years and they have always been prompt and professional.

Sorry to hear about your troubles
