Anyone have a complete write up of the wiring of a unit such as the Kenwood DDX6019 (or similar) to the stock wiring (power, speakers, etc..)?

I can't find anything on the wiring when I searched.

I'd like to install a double din system, but need to know how to wire it up if it's more than just plug and play.

The wiring is easy, just add the Harness to it like any other non-factory radio install. The only part about the double din system that is difficult is the fitment since we got hosed and don't have double din radios from the factory. With the harness, it is plug and play. You can get those from best buy/circuit city/any online audio place just need a GM one since they are practically identical.

I'm considering the Kenwood DNX 7100... But that may be a winter mod...

Here's my setup. My step by step directions are located in the FAQ section of the General Corvette Forum under Audio and Electronics.

Seriously cool interior. I really dislike my flip up unit. I love the performance, but the flip screen is somewhat cumbersome and blocks the a/c vent. I'm getting ready to have my center console painted also...yours looks great.
