Turn it on, and move switch to far left position........ACCEl, GFORCE will alternately flash.......PRESS ACCEL, and hold for a second.........then SWITCH the sitch to the center position.......
Press the switch, it will set it self to a FLASHING "GO", mode.......
You can roll forward or rearwards, and it will not start......but, as soon as you HIT the throttle it will start..............if you DO NOT let off the gas, once past 60mph, it will record 1/4 mile time automatically............time for each will flash, (as you have used it)......either 0-60, or 1/4 mile.............

I don't think you need to move the switch over to the far left. In "Accl" mode the far left switch position is to measure Horse Power, the middle switch position is to measure 0-60 and 1/4 times. You don't have to switch to the far left then switch back to the middle position to measure 0-60 or 1/4 mile. I did 3 0-60 runs on it and got the best of 4.74 secs. I also did 3 1/4 mile runs and got 12.89 on the 3rd run. It's fun to play around with it, just don't get arrested.
