Recently, a C6 pulled up behind me and followed for several miles. As I signaled a right turn, he gave me a European light flash...C6 version of a wave. Nice touch. One benefit of fixed headlights.
I always wave. I use the ultra cool 2 finger peace sign. Sometimes since I have dark tint I move my fingers closer to the windshield so the passing corvette can easily see my wave. If my windows are down I also use the 2 finger peace sign while I am reclined in my seat.
One thing I love about the corvette is the reclined seat look even. Ultra cool
I wave at Jeeps & Corvettes (I own both) when I'm in my Toyota (Tacoma).
Sometimes I get a wave back...but usually not. I don't care.... it's fun and It's even more fun if you can see the reactions on their faces when they're dumbfounded ..."Why'd that person just wave at me??"
I keep seeing this nice C6 vert in my neck of the woods. I waved today but I couldn't tell if they even noticed....those darn vettes sit too damn low to the ground and I can't see through the window tint when I'm in my truck!!
If you wave at someone heading towards you and they are in a turn lane and make a U turn and pass you a little ways up the road, do you wave again (even if it is less then 5 minutes between waves for the same car/driver)?
It sure does tick me off to wave at a fellow Vette owner and have them just stare at me. Today, I pulled into Subway and there was a red and a white C5 sitting there. I was in my black C5. I waved at the owner of the red one (the other was empty), and he just looked at me like I was from another planet. Oh well, later on a blonde in a C6 waved at me so I guess it all balances out.
