I have had a C2, C3 and C5 and continue to waved at all Vettes. The wave shows that you are a Corvette enthusiast instead of merely a Corvette owner. We need to save the tradition.
I'll usually wave to all vettes that I can, if it's not an awkward, going out of my way type of wave (like if they're negotiating a turn or curve and I'm gaining on them). But I also think it's kinda more the responsibility of the newer generations to wave to the older ones. Shows you're not a generational snob like everyone is saying about some C6 owners.
I wave at all vettes and when I forget that I am driving my other car I get some interesting reactions. So I put a 'I'd rather be driving my Corvette" LP frame on my M35 but it doesn't help much. Just keep wavin' savage1
Has anyone ventured to the C6 side to see if they know they are s'posed to wave?
OMG Thou shalt not venture forth in another's land. The skies shall open up and thunder falleth from the heavens. Thou shalt only lie with your kind, not the kind of another. It is an abomination.
Here's one for the books, I was on the interstate in my GT Mustang, and I rolled my tinted window and gave a big to an owner of a white '01 coupe. He sure looked confused! Later at a rest stop I explained I owned one of each! I've also done it in reverse, giving the to owners of beautiful Mustangs while driving the 'Vette. I guess I JUST LOVE SPORTY CARS
I wave at all Vette's if I don't have my head up my @ss. With that, there are days that I'm enjoying the drive and the tunes so much I'm in a zone and don't even see the others, so I bet they are posting about me on the other sites.
I'm a little like black & tan, when I am paying attention, I wave at most nice cars. Something about classics and even some of the new convertibles on a nice day with there tops down.
I started out with the Jeep wave, then onto the bike wave and finally the Corvette wave. I can't seem to get the FX-35 wave going though haha. It never fails though having a passenger with you...."do you know that guy/girl?" haha

I wave at Jeeps & Corvettes (I own both) when I'm in my Toyota (Tacoma).
Sometimes I get a wave back...but usually not. I don't care.... it's fun and It's even more fun if you can see the reactions on their faces when they're dumbfounded ..."Why'd that person just wave at me??"
I keep seeing this nice C6 vert in my neck of the woods. I waved today but I couldn't tell if they even noticed....those darn vettes sit too damn low to the ground and I can't see through the window tint when I'm in my truck!!
I wave at all Vettes, sometimes you get one back and sometimes you don't. No biggie. I think the ones who don't wave are probably just first-timers taking a test drive before they buy the only American Sports Car!
