Please keep those prayers coming. Eric does not have gall stone and his bile ducts are clear. However, in addition to his pancreas, his liver and spleen are also inflammed and he has been spiking a fever of 103. The doctors started him on IV Antibiotics yesterday and they began growing a blood culture, looking for a viral or bacterial infection. The morphine for the past two days really helped with the pain. Thanks to all who have prayed for Eric here in the CF family.

Please keep those prayers coming. I just returned from lunch at the hospital and it appears Eric is finally making some headway. He was able to walk around the ICU by himself for the first time since Tuesday. He is also watching the college World Series, which is the first time he has watched TV since Monday evening. Also, his need for the morphine is finally started to trail off. Thanks for all the prayers from all around the CF familypeter pan

Your boy has the best Doctor in the world it's the same one I had last June 23rd. I had a Whipple Procedure cause of a tumor on my Pancreas. It's avery serious operation 5 1/2 hours. The doctor I'm talking about is God and the prayers of a lot of faithful people. Tell Eric to hang in there and never lose faith, that with his determination and all our prayers will see him through. Give him my email and when he's all better we can exchange war stories. Originally Posted by TEX-Z06

Power of Prayer is Awesome!!!!! We got the new results of his latest lab work and his blood sugar is 167 and his triglycerides are down to 1000 from 5100!!! If all goes well tonight, Eric will be allowed to start a liquid diet tomorrow. Praise God!
He is going stir crazy and I know he is missing his C4. We had just finished repairing it so he could drive it when all this happened. Thanks to everyone in our extended family here on the CF.
God Bless,
Rodney, Dianne, Eric and Alyssa.

May God smile on you, your son and your family
Tell him to have faith and that many prayers are being offered up for his speedy recovery.
Tell him to have faith and that many prayers are being offered up for his speedy recovery. Thanks again all for the prayers offered up on my sons behalf. Eric began the liquid diet this morning. This is a very good sign! He still has some more time in the hospital but the doctor was very incouraged by how fast his recovery is progressing... and we all know why

That's excellent news! Here are some more prayers for his speedy recovery.
