Depends on the mods the car has. It is only worth it if the car has at least heads and cam.

The amount you see would not justify the 860 dollars for the intake and another 300 for a TB.

I'm running about 425 RWHP on a heads cam car with stock displacement. I emailed Lingenfelter about what my gains my be if I went to a FAST 90. They thought I would only gain 5-10 more RWHP. Not worth it for that much money. Lingenfelter told me that if I stroked the motor to 383 Cubes or larger a FAST 90 would then be a good idea.

Thanks for the "insider" info on that issue...........nice to know what the Big Boys have to say about it all. I'll be stuffing that little tidbit away for later.............did they happen to say what kind of gains the intake by itself would do on the stroked motor...................or is this a requirement anyway?

The bigger the displacement the better the gains. I think they said it would be 10+ for a 383. It all depends on the total package too. Cam, heads, exhaust etc...

I would not waste the money on a 78. Go 90 if you change it at all.

Yes this will definitely qualify as grounds to deny you a claim on your warranty..........however, this is also dependant on "who's" warranty you have and how well you know the service manager at whatever repair facility you use.
