Vert
I noticed today quite a few threads where members referred to their C5 as "my vert". Is this a new fad where a "vert" is more special than a "coupe" or "frc"??? Just wondering if I live on the wrong side of the tracks.

The "Vert" is "it"
Everyone has their own preference.
We would not be without one.

Sometimes it is necessary to establish which body style is involved when asking questions.
Btw, I own a "Vert" and live on the left side of the tracks. Just don't park it there.

We have a Vert for the left side of the tracks and a Coupe for the right side.

I think everyone thinks their vette is special, no matter what it is, but now that you mention it, yes, i prefer verts! Yellow ones in paticular.

Some people look for special things in a "sports" car.
For some its a sports car if it has a manual transmission.
Me, I think its a sports car if it is a convertible. So, yea, I think mine is special.

Fad??? Some people refer to them as a roadster... I call mine a Vert all the time... too lazy to type Convertible...
Also, some people can't spell Convertible so "Vert" is easier for them as well...
I also refer to FRC's as FRC's, Z06's as Z06's and coupe's as coupe's... I don't know why I do, but I do...

Nothing like a "Vert" with the wind blowing through your hair...that is if you have some hair (which I no longer have!)... why hats come in handy.

Good idea
Seriously, why would something like that bother you?
"vert" is a part of a description.
As the previous guy stated. I call "ZO6's" ZO6's, "FRC's" FRC's and "Coupes" Coupes.... Where is this supposed to go?

However, I used to call it a roadster. Until I got on
