weird question
at our last club gtg, a fellow member noticed a small box below the accelator pad. he said they are some sort of speed limiter so you do not floor the pedal to the metal. he does not have it on his c4. what is it?

Not sure what it is, but it's not a speed limiter that I know of.

It's only for new Vette owners. Kinda like training wheels on a bicycle.

The gas pedal on a C5 is fly by wire - it is not physically connected to the fuel system, so any limiting can be done by the computer. I think that box may be the chick magnet....
