Ashtray delete?

Ashtray delete?
Anyone modified their dash to not have the ashtray and lighter in it? Turning the space into a pocket for small items, like a cell phone and such??

I deleted the ashtray and lighter when I did my double din mod. Does that count?

Atually, it is for your boost controller, line lock, and other things.

I designed a replacement fo the ashtray to hold my cutout switch and had it machined out of delrin.

Ok, how do you get the ash tray and lighter out? Does it actually come out leaving a storage area of is this a demolition/rebuild?
